States Struggle to Curb Food Waste Despite Policies

According to this UC Davis study, current state policies are falling short when it comes to keeping the U.S. on track to reach the goal of cutting food waste in half by 2030. State policies typically emphasize food waste recycling, which is important; however, few policies include prevention and rescue strategies.
