A new initiative in Rhode Island offers free walkthroughs and tailored guidance to food businesses and restaurants in select communities to help them prevent surplus food waste, rescue edible food, and divert scraps from landfills. The initiative is from the Food and Climate Action Partnership – a collaboration among the Rhode Island Food Policy Council, Foodrecovery.org, and the Center for EcoTechnology.
