Hilton is reducing hotel food waste with creative cooking and AI


Hilton Hotels is implementing comprehensive food waste reduction strategies across its global properties using AI-powered monitoring systems and culturally tailored programs like “Green Ramadan,” achieving waste reductions of over 60% in some locations through changes like smaller portions, cook-to-order options, and creative zero-waste cooking. The company recently became the first hospitality brand to join the U.S. Food Waste Pact and plans to expand its successful European programs to North America and Asia-Pacific.
